As soon as the plans are finalized I'll be asking for volunteers to help out. The plans should only take a week to be approved, and then another to be implemented.

Here's an idea. Probably not a good one but I thought about this after teaching at McConaughey park.
Instead of having an empty puddle/swamp where the tree stump is, why not empty that out/fill it up with concrete(?) and make a shed/shack to store equipment? Seems the right area, and the right height it could save a lot of space in Hiddle's car.

That doesn't sound like the safest place to store stuff and that would only help the tennis team, not the entire community. The plan so far seems to be really good. How would the benches in the grass work? And how would they stay in the grass? I'd be interested in helping out too.

Hm, it's public so we can't make a shed to be used just for our storage. Also, if it was open for public, locks and security would be an issue. Not very practical imo.
Remember to think of improvements that will benefit other park goers besides the team.
Gates would be great, however, I'm not entirely sure if HARD will be able to supply the cost to do that. Something that will be beneficial would be an increase in park benches especially in the grass area by the doubles courts. We often find a lot of people just sitting on the grass there. Sometimes even non-tennis players so yeah, that works.
